Love good music? Would like to taste the World? Wish to unwind and discover new voices? Or just want to feel good in a great company at a beautiful place by the Lake Balaton…
OT AZOJ plays music from Molvania, the country with the muddiest party scene of the whole of Eurasia. Original compositions served on a bed of Balkan-bop, Klezmer-rumba and Turkish grooves, doused with lively solos and garlic liqueur.
Energetic performance
The six musicians hail from the Netherlands, Turkey and Hungary and are as varied in their music as they are in their background. Having been educated at Musical Academies in Turkish Music, Jazz, Latin and Classical Music and having a vast experience in Klezmer and Balkan styles, OT AZOJ is an Amsterdam-based top formation. Be it a rowdy festival or an intimate concert, OT AZOJ will happily turn it into a Molvanian experience!
Lowlands, Dranouter and more
OT AZOJ was founded in 1994. In the present composition, the latest arrival in the band is as old as the band itself is young. They have produced ten CDs, which are being sold worldwide. They were a smash hit at festivals like the International Gipsy Festival, Lowlands, Festival Mundial (The Netherlands), Dranouter (Belgium), Ashkenaz (Canada), Klezfiesta (Argentina) and Kazimierz Dolny (Poland) and performed in theatres with Klezmer fon Kishinev, ZETS! and Express Oriënt.
Their new album Dza Dza Dzum is out and available everywhere!
