’The Khat' is an experimental project that arranges new versions of Muslim and Jewish Yemeni folk songs from the 50s'-70s' as well as original pieces in Hebrew inspired by the middle eastern and north African flavors established by Eyal Yahav at the end of 2017.
The band is consist of 3 musicians + 1 guest that bring a unique sound of free improvisation using live instruments and computer effects. Currently working on a debut album that will be released around end of May 2018.
