Love good music? Would like to taste the World? Wish to unwind and discover new voices? Or just want to feel good in a great company at a beautiful place by the Lake Balaton…
MiraMudo opened the evening with charming songs. Luiz Mura’s heartfelt solo performace on his ’viola caipira’ left everyone emotional. His voice and the sound of the tiny instument filled the theater with nothing but peace.
The guest artist of the evening was Ibrahima Cissokho, the famous artist from Senegal who plays a very special, traditional instrument called the ’kora’. He and his french band ’Le Mandingue Foly’ amazed everyone with their various range of songs from their latest album ’Yanfu’. The highlight of their performance was their magical song called ’Diula’, a simple melody that took the breath away of listeners with its perfectly composed, smooth bass riffs and bared-down kora sounds.
After Ibrahima Cissokho, the barcelona resident band Gadjo took the stage to shake up the audience with bright gypsy-esque compositions and theatrical melodies. During the Babel Mundo jam session artists joined on stage to improvise reggae tunes and super fun songs.
